Randy Burks, M.D., F.A.C.S. is the senior partner at Ophthalmology Consultants, The Center for LASIK. He is a board certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist, who specializes in laser vision correction, small incision cataract surgery, and eye plastic and reconstructive surgery. He joined Ophthalmology Consultants in 1989 after completing twelve years of active duty service in the United States Air Force as an F-16 Flight Surgeon and Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology. While serving at the Air Force’s major medical center as the Director of Residency Training, Dr. Burks was responsible for training eye surgery residents.

 

Dr. Burks was chosen to be part of the Ultimate Makeover Team because of his commitment to developing countries in Central and South America to help fight blindness, superb professionalism and bedside manner, extensive expertise, and community & patient support. He has mastered every qualifying criterion we have put forth.
