David Levens, M.D., F.A.C.S. has been practicing plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in Coral Springs since 1989. His fellow physicians elected him Chief of Surgery at Coral Springs Medical Center (1999-2001) and Vice Chief of Staff (2003-2005). He has been included twice in Miami Metro Magazine's annual lists of "Best Doctors in South Florida". The lists are based on surveys of where area physicians say they would send their own families for treatment.

Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Levens is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). Only about 25% of all Board-certified plastic surgeons have been accepted into the ASAPS. He is frequently quoted in the media, is monthly cosmetic surgery columnist for Parkland Life Magazine and was selected as a Contributing Expert for the 2007 plastic surgery reference book, “Be Your Best.”

Voted "Best Cosmetic Surgeon" by readers of the Coral Springs Forum, Dr. Levens was also named, "Top Doc" in Castle Connolly's national ratings for 2010.
